Review

As its name might suggest to people familiarized with physics, PsyChart is a tool designed to work with psychrometric charts on a computer, with all the advantages that this represents in comparison with working on paper charts. We mentioned the advantages of working with digital psychrometric charts, but what are those advantages? For example, with PsyChart you can get instantly all the information related to any point on the chart just by clicking your mouse. You can even mark points that are somehow important for you and add labels for future reference. What is even more important, PsyChart allows you to work with thermodynamic processes, that is to say, several points that create a closed loop within the chart. The ability to work with thermodynamic cycles will allows users to easily compare several options in the search of the most convenient feature. PsyChart produces some reports such as: state point report, which presents a list of the points you stated on your chart and its main properties; process energy report, which shows your processes and the energy involved for each of them; and process input/output report.
Advantages
  • It allows working with processes.
  • It produces several printed reports.
  • There's a demo version available.
Disadvantages
  • It won't allow report previewing.
  • It's available in English only.
